HUMAN PARANOID - STILLBORN RESURRECTION
INDEPENDENT
METAL TO INFINITY
We at MTI are pretty familiar with these German metalheads since a couple of years - feel free to check out our CD reviews section to read more about previously released works of them. Since my first contact with Human Paranoid, I have been such under the impression concerning their qualitative performances. To me, the first few years of HP's existence are able to defined such as 'succeeded'. These German thrasher's name of the game is Thrash Metal influenced by the 80s underground scene. Before their new release ''Stillborn Resurrection'', Human Paranoid stood burned in my soul as an extreme aggressive, driven by the forces of Thrash Metal band with a lot of potential - I was curious about their follow up to 2006 ''Breed Of Cain''...
Human Paranoid's new, self financed full length album ''Stillborn Resurrection'' reached my postal address a few days ago - opened up the packaging quickly and played the CD entirely immediately after, of course volume reduced the maximum! Opener and title track 'Stillborn Resurrection' bursts open entirely after a short interlude - Thrash Metal maniacs, stand strong because this song goes fast all the way. Fantastic song to me, able to break your neck - very aggressive vocals and ultra fast guitar riffs/bass and drum works... aaarrgghhhh! Second assault 'Darkroom Alliance' starts with a great guitar riff (pure old school reminiscent)... what follows is a blast, something you won't soon forget. Remarkable are the duo use of the vocal lines. Death Metal-esque grunts in combination with aggressive screams - also this song conquers my attention for sure.
'New Frontiers' is a song not that fast, it's even to define as a low tempo Metal song that shines all over because of the way this one is build up. Great guitar works - also this time the vocals use exists of two parts, I mean deep, dark, somekinda Death Metal grunts meets the aggressive part of the game. 'Enlightenment' on the other hand explodes again in full glory with aggressive vocals to the extreme, totally speed-up guitar riffs,... you know the story. What also has been notable to me is the fact Human Paranoid has been given more attention on the guitar solos. Quite technical this time and that's the way I like. Other faves of mine and definitely food for all those into aggressive Thrash Metal are: 'Pentagony', 'Philippica', 'Li(f)e', 'Accion Mutante' One by one outputs to let yourself go, no time to slow down - taking the fast lane straight to Thrash Metal heaven is the only way out!
Conclusion: I'm completely satisfied, my heart says that ''Stillborn Resurrection'' is a very good Thrash Metal album that deserves all the attention of maniacs who admire this form of music. Fans of early Kreator, Massacre, Demented Ted, Sadus, Deadhead or Invocator will be pleased for sure so guys, don't hesitate and purchase this great piece of Thrash Metal with slices of Death Metal via next following url's: www.humanparanoid.de or http://www.myspace.com/humanparanoid Better than ever before, Human Paranoid gets my full support because they're worth it!!
